Wings,
Helping us to fly to remarkable highs And unquestionable lows, Or not at all. We might be grounded without our wings, Feeling emotions like worry, fear, anxiety, and pain. But with the devolving anguish Comes compromise and distinguished, simple wisdom. With patience, we will likely soar again; For good fortune and luck take time – Our wings are close at hand, But not so near to us yet That we can experience the evolution of our flight. Take hold of your life with conviction and care, Aware that a loose, but firm hold, Given enough time, will matriculate To promising, new accomplishments. Hopes, dashed and fallen, allow us to grow Into the wise, spontaneous, and joyous people We deserve to be!
