A WINTER NIGHT
The beauty of white snow in a dark night.

A WINTER NIGHT

O winter wind, cold and icy,
Cutting the skin so deep,
You invigorate lungs even
As I shiver and creep.

Peeping out of my window sill,
As I gaze in the sky,
A thousand twinkling stars greet me,
As a pale moon I spy.

The pine is covered in the snow,
A white sheet all around.
Nature, in thy pristine beauty,
A heaven I have found.

A lonely howl breaks the silence
Of the black and white hue,
Reminding that life does, in snow,
Quietly continue.
