Imprisoned Pearls

Pearls cast
in teal waters.
Swallowed up in waves so vast.
Swirling, twirling, 'til they at last,
on sandy shores do rest

Alas,
sealed tight within
a tiny prison of glass,
sweet dreams of a tender young lass
must wait for tomorrow.
