Spring Angel
Do you ever notice on these lovely days of Spring When the flowers begin to grow and the birds begin to sing That you never feel lonely You never feel blue That there is always someone you can't see Admiring Spring with you You turn your head To the beauty of a budding rose Without anything being said You can feel her so very close You watch the children play Yet you're not alone You can almost hear her say "Look how they've grown." You think of reasons why You don't feel her there In the Summer heat so high Or through the chill of Winter air Though you do not see her beside you You decide to ask Then you feel her words so true Helping you to understand at last "See my child, in the Summer you vacation The Winter you think too much Fall has harvest jubalation Spring is still enough to feel my touch. So though you do not feel me I am there by your side Take a moment and you will see I will never hide" So thank you my Spring Angel I am so glad to know That my life is never dull Because you are with me watching flowers grow.
