Not worth fighting for
A poem I wrote when I felt unappreciated

I won't hide the way I feel today,
I hate that way you look at me,
I'm only human and so are you,
So what, If I can't pretend anymore,
to be someone I'm not

AndI can't help it if you can't see
where I'm coming from,
But I believe that
when the time comes around,
you'll know how it feels all alone.

This is the last time I'll bend over for you,
And it's the only time I'll explain.
If you can see through the clouds,
see the lining, shining,
then I guess we were never worth fighting for.
