Lately I wonder If your night is still sweet. Does it canvas the valley And spread over fields? Is there haunting protection With warmth and with peace; The awesome seclusion That you truly seek? Have stars spread a painting Through glitter and gold? Does the moon cast it's magic With brilliance untold? How big is this canvas That draws you each night, Through splashes of planets And colors and light? I envy that North place That provides for your eyes, Glimpses of Heaven In God's lovely sky.
