My words are not so important
they serve to heal your ravaged soul,

The longer your tortured thoughts lie dormant
leaves less time here, to flourish and grow,

So pen a poem
Or sing a song
Or simply state what's wrong,

Open up to those who love you
and let them help you find the light,

I'll hold your hand and take you
far away from your darkest night,

So call a friend
Or write a note
Or simply choose to trust.
