no more hope...
opportunity has taken
the reaper’s path to blacker corners,
with midnight's velvet shadows
forever invisible
casting no more light
like my hope
destroyed by your cancerous
disappearing, but maybe
death will be a more honorable lover
than your own flesh and blood…
and with an eternity of hope
dissipated into the winds of hell —
will your grave be marked
by a forgotten wreath
sent by an estranged son?
