I'm Here For You

I'm sorry for you my friend
For the pain you're going through
I'd like to lighten your burden
By being here for you.
I can't erase your sorrow
Or take away your pain
Yet,I have compassion and empathy
For what you're going through.
I have ears so I can listen
Shoulders for you to cry on
Arms in which to hug
And a heart full of love.
If you need a friend
That will be with you
Through your sorrow and pain
Remember, I am here always.
I will develop callouses on my knees
Spending time praying for you
And I will do it over and over again
Until your pain has eased away.
I'm just an e-mail away
Anytime, night or day
I'm never too busy for you.
