For the 55 word contest- The last words a condemned man hears.

  Tears slowly slid down his face onto the table. They strapped him down and put in the needle.

  “Do you have any last words son?”

  “I didn’t do it, I swear.”

  The priest leaned down toward the condemned man and softly whispered in his ear, “I know you didn’t do it, because I did it.”
