BEATING AROUND THE MILKYWAY
Tell me... How do I catch Mercury or briefly dim Mars? How does it feel to make love to Venus? Can one out swim Neptune or skate on Saturn's rings? Can one win a sumo with Jupiter despite its magnitude? To know... What turns a comet into a bully? And what cosmic joke incites Sol to flare or Aurora Borealis to bare her thighs? Does a nebula know where to begin cleaning the turmoil within? I ask, "In this mix of particle, plasma, gas, and scatter, does anyone love an outcast like anti-matter?" How long will... Earth be able to turn her cheek from stellar poundings seven days a week? Will pluto remain mum despite having been smitten? Will Uranus, brunt of countless jest, continue to ignore her offspring? Lastly, do black holes ever push?
