The CinqTroisDecaLa Rhyme, a form created by Laura Lamarca consisting of one 10-lined stanza. The rhyme scheme for this form is AABBCCCABC and a syllable count of each line is 15.
Blackened Death for Love The gnawing, rotting stench of perfumed hearts hangs thick in the air; An anxiousness weighs heavy in my soul, making me aware. The deepest, darkest red – it stains, it drips from walls to the floor; Disturbing, jagged lines scrawled on the wall, count a score of four. The blood of lovers past bled through cold and hardened veins my own – Never was I able to return the passionate love shown. I build a strong and sturdy wall around my heart, made of bone But never could I find a cure for loneliness or despair. Let me be to revel in the pain of bloody murder, gore – Hearts that bleed blackened death for love will forever bleed alone.
