My heart skipped a beat as you walked away.
My tears hovered but did not spill. I was at a loss as to what I should say. Knowing that I loved you still. The word divorce causes me so much pain, It brings my world hurtling down. Sometimes I believe I'm going insane. While you"re having fun on the town. Whatever happened to just you and me? The times it was only us two. Now you tell me you want to be free, And, there is to be no more you. Divorce just doesn't seem right to me, But, you'll end up with one anyway. So, the only thing left for me to do. Is making you pay and pay!
