A Mother's Cry

A mother's cry is like nothing else on earth.
Silent tears that run along like a river.
Her worries buried deep for no one to see.

The burden of understanding,
The difficulties of his life lived in moments out of control.
When to step in and break the cycle, step back and let him live.

A mother cannot win a battle,
She must fight in vain for a mental illness that
Rages out of range.

What can help her carry the burden of worries?
This mother's love is never ending.
Just like her pain, she carries it with pride,
knowing without it, they would not survive.

A mother's cry is like nothing else on earth.
The most beautiful sound not heard.
Cherished moments left in the sun to dry.
