Thoughts In The Night! 1 The Whisper

What a lovely picture I see. The snow is gently falling and everything is so white especially in the night when it feels so serene.  What a beautiful picture the Lord paints for us.  When I look outside His handiwork is all around. It brings peace to my spirit and a calmness that says be still and know that I am God.  How magnificent you are Lord when you whisper, " Come and know me. Be still in the deepest part of your being and I will reveal myself to you in a way you have not seen. You will be enlightened to who I am and it will bring a knowing of who you are, because in me you live and move and have your being".  What an assurance of His love reaching down to me, touching the depths of my spirit and calming my very soul with a whisper of peace be still. His love broke through the shackles of my mind. God coming down to reach the very depths of my soul where the canvas was untouched and dark. He has painted a beautiful picture in me with the stroke of His hand. He wants me to come and be still before Him so He can enjoy the painting that He has created. It is for His pleasure that I am here.  Now I come to Him ever so still so that He can delight in me and I in Him.
