Now & Then
If I could be a boy again, knowing what I know... would my life today, in my past be changed? Or down the same path would I go? Would I repeat the same mistakes, or could I finally learn, the choices that I make today, will shape the life I’ll earn? And when I feel that I could run away and hide, would I see at last the folly, of my feelings stuffed inside. To realize, as difficult it is at times this journey we call life, the man today, just as the child then, can choose happiness or strife. And when at long road’s end eventually I stand, will the child that I still am inside, finally be a man?
