True Love
How I envisioned "true love."

True Love

I breathe your luminosity
delighting in
the aura of your
                   hushed caress.

Questioning the wonder of you
fallen to me.

I have plummeted as well
to the colors you spill
         cascading to
         blanket my own
reluctant rainbow.

I know
at any given moment,
passion could disintegrate
         outside our cosmic
gesturing,

         and all that we’ve
struggled for, each melting kiss,
         each fused embrace

could be lost to eternity’s dust
to view as nonexistent
         as thought our fervor
never was.

Thank you
for loving just me
in a world so full of
beautiful stars ~

         yet you chose just
         to blink alone inside
                   my Soul.
