I wanted to kick you
out of bed. It was my thought, my intention as I sat in solitude. I prayed, yet feared the sight of empty rooms, vacant hallways, kitchens left in emptiness. I sat and listened as your breathing rose in full. I hastened to the deep grass outside below the moon. Every part of my body, my secrets met your heart; you knew but never knew. I was the person of change, someone you had once known. But every waking changed my lifestyle, You removed yourself and never made a change. So I sat within the room as dawn brought wind and curtains flew and I wondered what to do. I wanted to kick you out of bed, but was afraid.
