A LEGEND ---------------- There was a young Arab herdsman named KALDI, who noticed that the goats became more energetic after eating the read fruit from a certain evergreen bush. Young and daring as he was, he tried the berries himself. He found they stimulated him and allowed him to watch his charges throughout the dangerous night without feeling tired or fatigued. One day a monk passed by and saw Kaldi dancing actively while attending to the goats. The monk inquired and Kaldi told about the marvelous fruit. The monk tried them and introduced the fruit to all the monks in the monastery and they overcome their sleepiness during night long prayers. The discovery was known and coffee was already famous since the year 1454. To make the story short coffee spread rapidly to the whole world including my country.
