Emotions

Awoken a slap stings my face.
Rage heats my body.
Ruby red blood runs inside my brain.

Burning my face. With eyes closed I see snake skin orange, yellow fire
blue veins mark the highways like a map-beneath my lids.

Thinking, I,retreat to the past distressed relationships.

Bright dark red raging blood leaks before the dawn.

Mistaken desire of stealing a life. Confusion ancient pasts witnessed abuse.

Shamed that cowering despair persuades maneuver of nothing.
Cowardly I act. Silence deadly seeing with eyes blind to every thing but what's at hand.

Hate prevails. My desire for no emotion so I can walk awayNo regrets. Not caring to let you live in your world upside down.
Burnt up with drugs. Memories you take carrying on your back
will feel like rocks.

My rage stays. Reminisces on
what you had it will not
travel with you.
Go alone face the cruel silence.
Cold heart, misery will follow.

As for me, behind I will stay alone to relish in peace.
Alone forever I savor. Resting in the cocoon
I've woven. Awaiting my butterfly
wings. So I can fly away.
