New Eyes
        by purplelove3121  (jo2005@Writing.Com)
The look of love was in your eyes.
I had never been looked at like that before
by a man. At first, I thought that I must be
seeing things. Because someone of your
calibur I thought, why would he be looking
at me like that and of course I didn't want
to get hurt either. You know, like sometimes
looks can be deceiving: A woman might think
that a man is looking at her with romantic
interest, respone and then find out that the
look was not that at all.

I watched you baby; you didn't know it because
we were so wrapped up in each other, but I was
watching your man, your way, and your demeanor.
You know, the way a man behaves when he's in love
and taken by a woman. I had to make sure you were
the real deal because of past tradegies.

But all in all, I had never been looked at liked that before
and I enjoyed it. The look in your eyes that day -
the geuiness and the love, made me the happiest woman in the
world that day. You had me captivated, under your control,
and hopelessly in love too! Your eyes said it all. There was
nothing left to the imagination, nothing for me to wonder about,
and nothing for me to worry about. Your eyes said it all. I enjoyed
every moment of it and I shall never forget it.
