HAVE FAITH IN HIM: award winner--an abcedarius
All, but those who don't have faith, Believe there is a God. Certain, so they are of this, Daily they pray to Lord. Every day they have a new Feeling they are with Him. God is there, He lives in their Heart, the faithful know well. In a moment of despair, Just when all appears dark; Knowledge that He is with them, Lights up yet more their faith. Men, why are you suspicious? No, God is not a myth. Only those can vouch for His Presence, whom He has blessed. Quite a few non-believers Repent their lack of faith. Somehow it is never late; They can always redeem. Under His plan that He knows, Varied are those He made. Why judge others or try to X-ray their thoughts and deeds? Yet, in ugly thoughts we dwell. Zeal we often have evil. • An abcedarius poem [A twenty six line poem, each line starting, in order, with a new letter of the alphabet] written in 7-6-7-6 format. The end couplet is 7-7. * Awarded prize, and an awardicon, in the ‘Alphabet fun' contest "The Alphabet Fun Contest" • Initially written as entry 376573 in the book FAITH, NATURE & INSPIRATIONAL, "FAITH, NATURE & INSPIRATIONAL" M C Gupta 1 October 2005
