Little squirrel climbing across my back fence.
Big fat cat, licking its chops, back legs tense. Nimble claws spinning a nut, checking for perfection. Feline eyes narrowing; it's a pre-dinner selection. The nut is fine, little rodent decides to depart. Brown lioness slinks forward, preparing to dart. Beady black eyes peering; the tiny creature runs. Pussycat pounces and . . . misses; that was no fun. Squirrel now nestled high up in a tree, chatters: "Hey Mr. Cat, if you weren't so fat, you would've had 'er!"
