As I awake from my night of slumber, the aroma that brings me out of my chamber, hearing this drip, drip from this welcomed smell, it's like an alarm clock with a loud bell. Slipping on my robe and my house shoes, heading toward my bathroom while I muse, brushing my teeth, as I'm thinking of you, the television in the distance, proclaiming the news. From the kitchen, hearing the birds sing their song, waiting for the coffee to stop dripping, it won't be long, I am feeling lazy, not wanting to get started, starting my mornings ritual it's only half hearted. Having a cigarette and my coffee in my hand, as I listen to the radio of my favorite band, I sit down at the computer to write my short story, thinking I should write instead, this thought of poetry. I'm taking a break, giving my mind a rest, to go back later, refreshed, trying to do my best, headache is starting, it's begining to really pound, another ordinary day, I just can't stand the sound. I know that this is just one sign a seizure is coming, the Epileptic seizures in my life are very consuming, trying to acomplish my life's dream, it is in sight, fighting against all odds. welcome to my everyday life.
