A NEW BEGINNING


Once more a new beginning
Is in fact what we need dear.
Let us not look back at past.
Why of it we be in fear?

Yes, we did make mistakes in
Several arrogant ways.
Shall we analyze them now?
Or, shall we the future gaze?

No, our life is too precious
To keep brooding in the past.
Why, for the rest of our lives,
Should those aberrations last?

Come, my love, let’s once again
Tread on this path with caution.
Let our hearts be ruled by love
Full of tender emotion.
