I never knew what love was like
until I met Him; He is like no other love I've ever known; Although I have never hugged His neck, Or held His hand, or looked deeply into His eyes, I know that He is my one and only true love There is a distance between us, But that doesn't bother me, Because I know we will be together soon, And I trust Him with my whole being, For He is faithful, and kind, And full of tender mercies. He is my one and only true love; He has given me a book full of writing filled with His love for me; I read it over, and over again; Food for my soul, My staff of life, My comfort when I am lonely, He is my God; He is my one and only true love.
