CLOUDS OF GLOOM: award winner
When clouds of gloom darken the life, Not a ray of hope shines; When all attempts come to a naught, All happiness declines; When friends become enemies and Blessings turn into curse; When dreams have but horror in them And life could not be worse; It's then that the inner voice says: "Rise, why be despondent? Why lament fate? Why don't you for Your own follies repent? If you are truly repentant And then seek my blessing, It won't be denied but will be Yours just for the asking". • Written in abcb, 8-6-8-6 format. • Honorable mention award in "Invalid Item" * Initially written as entry no. 454581 in the book FAITH, NATURE & INSPIRATIONAL, "FAITH, NATURE & INSPIRATIONAL" M C Gupta 13 September 2006
