|The Tea Party
The table is set meticulously.
Each piece carefully placed; the china gleams.
Great excitement hums; What can the fuss be?
The scene must be matched to the hostess' dreams.
Specially picked tea perfectly brewed
Fills the air pleasantly pungently mellow.
All must be present, all friends are pursued.
All must be ready for the surprise hello.
Happiness fills the hearts of the close friends
and, wrapped in love, flows to the honored one.
A toast, Gabriella, each cup ascends.
They touch, wishes blend, a fabric is spun.
You encourage us; point us to the sky.
We lift you up raising our glasses high.
