White horse, rider with bow, conquering with a great blow. Upon your head, wear a crown. Pounding hoofs bearing down. Red horse, rider with sword, remove peace from the hoard. Turn men against each other, willing to kill their brother. Black horse, holding scales, destroy many of the bales. Preserve the oil and the wine the wealthy will dine. Pale horse, carrying death give to many their last breath. War, famine, plague, and beast, take twenty-five percent at least.
