What Is An Angel Anyway? Preston stood by Nana as she was writing angel stories. He looked up at her with big brown eyes, displaying a curious look on his face which questioned, What is an angel anyway Nana? You see Preston; God has the biggest job of all. With so many people in our world, God is very busy. He is always looking down trying to find the the ones willing to work hard. I'm a hard worker Nana, said Preston. Oh yes Preston; you are one of God's best helpers, said Nana. Do you think I can help God too, asked Preston? I think that's a terrific idea. You will make a fine helper. You will be a very special angel to God. I bet he can find lots of work for you to do. I can work for God everyday; said Preston. I just need to tell my mom ,okay Nana? I'll ask my mom if I can be an angel for God like you Nana. God will like that, answered Nana. You see ,Preston, even though God is everywhere he still needs helping hands. Preston looked down for a moment, then said, my hands are small, Nana but they are very strong, do you want to see? I can pick up big things and small things too. My daddy says I'm a very strong boy. He lets me help him all the time. I like to carry things for my daddy. Sometimes, my mommy lets me help make dinner. Mommy says Jenna can't help she's to little. Well said Nana, I'm quite sure when Jenna gets bigger, she will make a good helper too. Do you know what Nana? I think you are an angel too. You take good care of me and Jenna and Harley everyday. Just then Jenna, walked in the room, to see what we were doing Guess what Jenna? I'm an angel, do you want to be one too? We can help God, by doing good work everyday. Do you want to help? yea brother I do, said Jenna. With big smiles on their cute faces, they held hands and began to dance around and around, while singing we are angels, we are angels, yea, yea we are angels The End I can see God smiling right about now, can't you? by: Mary Eaton
