In Quiet Wonder by CandleMaker
In Quiet Wonder still I hear you call Against the velvet backdrop of my soul And if I only knew that this was all I ne'er could leave this bower feeling whole But if by chance you pass me by to say That we will be together in the glen That we will be together on a day You'll only sense the joy in me begin You'll scarcely see the way my thoughts will soar To ancient portals reaching from afar And even if it's on some distant shore My soul is kindled like a shooting star In quiet wonder then I'd wait the game And know I'd only have myself to blame "A Path to You" by destinydances I recognize myself within your smile Your tenderness that stirs me. lights my way... Forgetting mortal confines, distant miles, I fancy that I sit with you today. I see you pensive in your darkened place And watch your face light up when I arrive. I always find my solace in your space And always find support through which to thrive. A path to you is not so very long, I've travelled it a thousand times before. You sit with me within our spirits' song And gently hold my hand upon the shore. Like bud to blossom, with sunshine and dew, So too is my soul when nourished by you.
