The scriptures teach us
That faith is the substance Of things hoped for And the evidence of things not seen; It's the positive assurance that what We hope for is going to happen, A life that's never been. I am confident that there is a Jesus, I am confident that He is coming back, I am confident that He has gone To prepare a place for us, I am confident that the scriptures Are Holy and inspired of God, I don't always understand His answers, But I know He has My best interest at heart. Without my faith it would Be impossible to please Him; His Holy word strengthens My spirit, my faith, He renews my soul, My faith never keeps us apart. Faith is likened to Child jumping off a Table top into their Fathers waiting arms. What father abandons his child? If that child asks for anything, Would a father Give them something that harms? I have faith that someday I will see God face to face; Presently we see and understand Only a small portion about God, It's as if we are seeing Him dimly in a poor mirror, See Ephesians 6:16, Hebrews 11:1, Hebrews 11:6 I Corinthians 13:12 Janice Bumbalough Marler February 20, 2008 poetrybyjan@nc.rr.com
