Malevolent Therapy
Rated: 13+ | Poetry | Drama | #1416774
the terror of self-destruction
Life becomes a veil

Pierced by iniquity

Using lips to escape it

And a tongue to taste the remedy

Problems become clouds, clearing the night sky

Seeing in the darkness is never necessary

The more you take, the longer you stay

Under this malevolent therapy

Why does no one notice?

Why does no one see?

The remedy is the poison

And poison is no remedy

Tribulation is a recurring nightmare

But now, so is losing oneself willingly

There is no fight for survival

In surrendering to the enemy

Soon the wound is too deep to climb

As you feel lost, frightened, and empty

Wide eyes realize much too late

Clouds never came with a remedy

Why does no one notice?

Why can no one see?

The remedy is the poison

In this malevolent therapy
