The first thank you poem to Angel

Something special happened one day,
an Angel wondrous, certain delight.
Sparkling light on display,
beautiful and so bright.

Strange now that I could see,
heavenly beauty so near.
Brilliance so close to me,
now I see very clear.

Still friends when afar,
you did what nobody could.
You my shining star,
removed my heavy hood.

Now deal out some cards,
any two will do.
No need for safeguards,
luck, your special brew.

Angel, beautiful great delight,
brightest late at night.
Tears in my eyes on sight,
trying to get it right.

When I manage to comeback,
your face filled with grace,
a smile you will crack,
my pulse will race.
