Black roses fall
black roses fall freely from the sky,as if an awakening has come to rise

Black roses fall freely
from the sky
as if an awakening
has come to rise.
Lifting my head to see the sky,
and all I see is black.
It's black that covers the ground now
managed to be held in delicate petals,
so soft,so pretty ,so dark.
I pick up a rose to smell,
but like dust in my hands it fades.
As far as the wind will carry it,
as far as the longing of days.
Black roses fall freely
from the sky
as if an awakening
has come to rise.
I follow the trail
of black rose,
almost like tears the sky cried
I stand there alone
and I am lost,
in all that has engulfed around me.
I close my eyes,and sigh.
Sadness has come and profound me
for I had not ever really known,
until I had touched deaths throne.
Black roses fall freely
from the sky,
as if my life
just passed me by.....
