Days spent under blazing sun
while the nights aren't any colder. Waiting out the blasts from unseen foes, not knowing if the end will come soon. 300,000 troops suffer war stress Families read the headlines for word of the next attack or mission. Stretched marriages and delayed engagements tugging at the heartstrings. 300,000 troops suffer war stress An army of one, protecting a nation under God Putting themselves in the face of terror so that others may live without that fear Beneath their armor of strength and calm, 300,000 troops suffer war stress.
