Deep within the soul lays the place where dreams live and die. With labor a dream comes into existence, the dream ignites life. Happiness once in the distance replaces strife. From deep within the soul, life derives contentment or sorrow. Loss of a dream delivers death to the soul killing life's joyfulness. The warmth of life becomes cold, the spirit enters darkness- All men's souls are equal, each owns the space within. The death of a dream does not kill a man, it douses the fire within- The future may bring new fires to fan. Life's battle, within the soul, man can win. Conflict is within a man's spirit, wrong is wrong and right is right. The place within my soul remains hollow. I do not wish my sadness upon your happiness. My hope for you is joy today and tomorrow. I choose to shine light upon my darkness.
