Dreaming Of You
In the darkness you come as I lay down my head. Stretching out beside me here on the bed. The words you do whipser here in the dark, promise of kisses and walks in the park; of moonlit strolls along the boardwalk, as we talk of our life, and what we will do together when I make you my wife; of children and family, with two dogs and a cat, you giggle beside me at what I think of that. Now morning is nearing, the birds begin to sing; like they did that bright morning when I gave you a ring. The sun was just rising, as now it does too, to find me now waking from dreaming of you.
