An Angels Intervention
An Angels Intervention

As the curtains moved upon the breeze.
An angel caught my eye.
Attired in white and on her knees
I heard her ask God, "why"?

" You sent me here to take him home"
' He is their only son".
His family will be left alone
Why did you choose this one?

I did not hear Him answer her.
His whisper soft and low.
Her faith in Him was so sure.
The kind I wish to know.

The angel gave me a smile
her dimples showing through.
Stardust swirled around awhile
Jesus left me you.
