Look at the pigskin soaring high
Spiraling, tumbling, falling Who is going to catch the ball? The Little one, the fat, the tall Searching througout the light blue sky Beads of sweat dripping down my face Brunette hair sticking to my skin Those distracted boys will not win An exhilarated feeling Will I catch it or will I not? Rapidly pumping, my heart beat Slowly rising, my body heat For now I have the brown football Ha! They thought a girl can't play Oh! No! Here I come running past Those dumbstruck boys think they're fast Hurry up guys, come chase me down It is only a game of tag Darting past like shooting arrows Left to right, I dodge the SPARROWS Can you hear me laugh at your team? Your wings of flight not very swift I am the LION, jungle king Hear me roar while you sweetly sing I'm the girl who beat your team You can't hurt or tackle me Did you see the touchdown I made? Behind those trees, where there is shade Jaws slightly drop, eyes wide open Deer in the headlights, they stand Listen to my team loudly cheer I'm the girl without a fear Of being trampled and tackled For I will catch the pigskin Again and again all the same Until we play another game
