I'm crying crystals as I see you leave;
A ghost morphs into mist, then disappears. Before, I couldn't bear to say goodbye; I've locked you in my mind for three long years. My memories, though sparse, will help me through And I will cherish them but let you go, For now it's time for me to say goodbye To you, my past regrets, my pain and woe. My heart feels sweet relief, my soul sees light, For grief has kept me shackled in the shade; I've been released so I can say goodbye; It doesn't scare me now to see you fade. I'm crying crystals but I'm filled with hope; It spreads across my face, a smile of glee. I love you, brother, I must say goodbye And with my words I'll set your spirit free.
