Under the shade tree, I'm on bended knee, I went to see my Mother today you see. We laid her to rest not even a year ago, today is Mother's Day and I miss her so. I sit beside her grave and I cry and cry, I tell her about missing her in my life. I talked to her about many, many things, about my grandchildren, the joy they bring. I bought her a bouquet of pretty flowers today, I have every Mother's Day, then I would say... I know you're expecting a Mother's Day poem, it doesn't have to rhyme in any kind of form. All this year I've been writing poems for you, I'll come back again and read them, they're new. I believe you would like some of them I know, Sorry Momma, I'm crying harder I have to go. Written for my Mother on Mother's Day. " In Loving Memory Of My Mother " March 23rd, 1928 ~ June 23, 2007 " She is resting with Yaweh " By: Cissyccr 5/11/08
