Welcome home.
Take off your tattered clothes,
wipe off the dirt, sweat and blood,
dry your tears.
Welcome home.

Welcome home.
Here is your flag,
we gather for you,
this is your eternal resting place.
Welcome home.

Welcome home.
Your shackles are gone,
prison has been lifted,
release your fears.
Welcome home.

Welcome home.
Your spirit is here,
even though your body isn't,
you will never be forgotten.
Welcome home.

Welcome home,
We are free because of you,
and we honor you for your duty and sacrifice.
Veterans,
welcome home.

Note/Spoiler:Each stanza symbolizes a different group of veterans. The first stanza is for the veterans who returned home. The second stanza is for the veterans who died. The third stanza is for the POWs (prisoner of war). The fourth stanza is for the veterans who went missing in action. Please do not rate or review based on this note.
