a slightly altered ghazal about the power of love

This item requires reviews with ratings.
a boundless reach awakens life's stray misty currents
waves of tears shaped to grasp today's misty currents

here you may come to stay, to quietly replay the shadows
my arms enfold your strife, until you delay misty torrents

a fragile memory appears, a bouquet of pleasure
courage brings smiles, laughing peels stay misty fragments

this desperate rhythm cannot halt, my heartbeat betrays love
in joy, weeping cannot stain my eyes - away salted tyrants!

for nonchalant passers-by, a diamond and nosegay at the altar
your finger adorned with our future after gray misty remnants

perhaps one day, a child's playful fancy, hurray! amusement!
will enlighten your sweet eyes and gainsay misty judgments

destiny guides our souls towards the skyway of boundless reach
the power of peace, love and life allays misty currents

misty currents
[2008.12.5...b]
Written in the Ghazal form

A brief note from the author:
To write a true ghazal, using a repeat phrase instead of single word, I should have written each stanza ending with "misty currents." I have respected the rhyme pattern, the long A sound preceding the repeat phrase, and the proper use of the repeat phrase in both lines of the first stanza as well as the closing line of the poem. I have taken the liberty to vary this phrase slightly to adapt it better to the context of each stanza.
