There is a valley of absolute beauty nestled in mountains in a land far away. The mountain peaks surround the most glorious splendor the human eye could possible see. The serene mounts adorned with dazzling hues, olive, myrtle and jade, lovely shades of green. Amber, rust and persimmon highlight the scene; running throughout the sparkling of diamonds gleam. The scenery unfolds in spectacular extravagance with petite flowers throughout. A stunning parade of the most gorgeous floats decked with tiny white, yellow and red blossoms. Nature's light departs over the western peaks; the air above the basin begins to cool. Warm air mixes with the chill and the mist forms a light purple delight adding to the view. The peaks reach to the sky so high adding shade to the foggy vista for most of the day. Some have enjoyed this opulence and returned. Traveling to this dell naught, brought here you wake. Sent across time and space to this splendid place were very few men have claimed that they have been. None but one ever told what this strange place holds. If what he says is true then you need to know. He claims, from the valley, it's a long way home. The fabulous beauty seen is a bad dream to determine the truth behind love's calling, a test in a desolate beautiful place. The story be told as he says it unfolds. You will wake on the eastside of the valley with the glow of the setting sun in your eyes. Out of the west, the yell of the one you claim to love. Looking around you will move out of your patch and discover the gleam of diamonds is glass. Sharp and embedded deep, penned on all four sides, there's no moving forward or back in this trap. You must reach the other side or she will die. Your love fatally wounded by the sharp glass, across the beautiful valley you must pass. This can't be, but it is; cross or she is dead. Tried day and night, no way to traverse the breach, on his side he stayed until his love had died. The sea of glass he was not able to pass; he awakened the next day in his own bed. To you my dear, my eternal love I pledge. I would crawl on hands and knees to get to thee. I would swing from branches of trees as need be. The valley of glass, some way I would get pass. I would reach you and take you into my arms, attend your wounds and care for you throughout the night. I would comfort you and wipe away your tears, if be, I would hold you in my arms until ... If until comes I would turn my head aside, bowed in grief your loving man would cry his last. Never to travel a long way home again, into your beautiful arms I would then pass.
