MEMORIES AND THORNS
Thorns last longer than the roses.

MEMORIES AND THORNS

As you said goodbye,
Along with a kiss,
You gave me what I
Shall keep near my heart.

Two tender roses,
Amongst a few thorns,
Is all that I have,
As your memories.

Which of these will be
With me for ever?
The roses will fade
But, the thorns, never.

I think it is just
Natural that your
Memories remain
Along with the thorns.
