The summer day morphed into velvet night--
Among the stars the dreams of souls take flight; Sweet words of love were scribed upon a page As one such soul prepared to take love's stage. He stepped into the dark with his guitar; The dreams of souls take flight among the stars And so he found his dear beneath their light, In moon's soft glow she was a wondrous sight! Although his heart was racing in his fright, Among the stars the dreams of souls take flight; And this he knew, for underneath the moon, With his guitar, he played his written tune. They left the world behind and travelled far-- The dreams of souls take flight among the stars; They soared the clouds and clung with all their might To one another as their souls shone bright.
