Tips and Tricks that Work
These are things that I have done that really work. I thought I'd share!

Tips and tricks I've used that work!

1. To cure a forehead headache, cut a lime in half and rub the lime on your forehead for a few minutes. Your headache will disappear automatically.

2. To stop hiccups, pinch hard both of your earlobes and hold it for a few minutes. By the time you let go your hiccups will disappear.

3. To cover holes in the wall, cover it up with a bit of white toothpaste and let dry.

4. To get lint and hair off your clothes when you don't have a lint brush, take a big piece of packing tape and pick up the lint and hair with it on your garment (the sticky side of course) .

5. To reduce infection and swelling in your mouth, use a dropper and put Hydrogen Peroxide on the swelling and spit out excess. Keep doing this three times a day and the infection will go away. Hydrogen peroxide is a great tooth whitener too. Pour some on your toothbrush a few times a day. Peroxide is also good to lighten hair. Put some peroxide and water (50/50) in a little spray bottle and spray it on after you get out of the shower. Let set on there for 40-50 minutes. Keep doing this until you get the desired color you want. To touch up roots, section hair with comb and spray directly on roots after you get out of the shower. You may have to do this several times to get the roots completely lightened if your hair is dark.

6. To stop a run in pantyhose, spray some hairspray on the torn part and it won't run any further. Best results is ultra hold hairspray or mega hold.

7. To brighten the whites of your eyes when you have red eyes use a white eyebrown pencil for the insides of eyes (Wet N Wild has these)

8. A great facial mask, rub avocado peel all over face (make sure there is still some avocado left in it after you've eaten it). Let set for 30 minutes and rinse with warm water. Your skin will be glowing afterwards and feel so soft. If you don't have time to do the mask right away put the peelings in a plastic bag in the refrigerator and use the next day.

9. A natural exfoliate, mix some olive oil with some sugar and rub on skin in circles. Makes a great exfoliate.

10. An emergency tightening face lift mask, brush egg whites on face with a fresh paint brush or make up brush and let set for 30 minutes and rinse off. Your skin will feel nice and tight.

11. For a cold, Zinc is a must at least twice a day if not three times at 50 mgs. Zinc is a great natural fighter against bacteria and viruses. I use Zinc even when I'm sick and nauseated and the nausea goes away. Another great anti-nauseant is peppermint.

12. For a restless nights sleep, a natural sleep aid is Magnesium at 250 mgs before bedtime. You will get the best glorious sleep ever. But don't take it with alcohol. Alcohol flushes the Magnesium right out of the body. Magnesium is also great for Restless Legs (RLS). Also keep in mind that if you have kidney disease it's not a good idea to take Magnesium. Always consult a doctor first.

13. For bags under the eyes, use Preparation H cream before bedtime. It reduces swelling for hemmoroids and it works for swelling under the eyes!

14. To make your arms look thinner (or any other part of your body) use a tanning product and you will look much slimmer. Neutrogena tanner is the best and it doesn't make sensitive skin break out in a rash.

15. For oily hair that never quits and you don't have time to wash it because you are in a pinch, absorb some of the oil with baby powder. Make sure you rub it in good so it isn't detected. Your hair looks freshly washed and smells good too.

16. Good toilet bowl cleaner is a carbonated soda poured into the bowl and let set for 30 minutes and then scrub clean.

17. Another slimming idea is to wear black on the biggest areas of your body (or dark colors in navy, chocolate, deep green or maroon) then wear lighter colors on the slimmer parts. Wear loose clothing, but not too loose as this will make you even look bigger. Just not too tight and something the skims nicely over the body. There are different dressing techniques for each body type on how to look slimmer. There are some great books out there that teach the best looks.

18. Got a nice waist? Play it up with a pretty bright colored top or a belt to add attention to your waist. Got a nice neck? Why not show it off with a necklace. Nice arms? Go sleeveless. Show off the best parts of your body!
