She layed still in the darkened room
her concentrated breaths the only sound
she felt her insides burn and rip apart
as blood curdling screams escaped her delicate mouth.
Stone began to tremble,
the trees began to bow,
hail crashed to the earth amist blazing fire rain,
the mortals hid in cellars,
as the inanamate fell shattering to the ground.

~*~

Was this the end?
Was God so merciful to kill them all now?

~*~

The forgotten queen lay breathless in the darkened room
the pained sky of dusk her only light
as she nursed two angels against her breasts.
One had hair as red as the morning sun
the other as dark as the moon's midnight kiss.

~*~

No.
It wasn't the end
Merely, a birth...
the begining of the end.
