Your brown eyes shined with wonder
Now they're cold with knowledge I can remember your first steps And your bright laugh Its hard for me to accept the truth And you're growing up I guess we all have to make a sacrifice Mine was leaving you Now I'm sitting here Missing the wonder in your eyes I guess time does fly I love who you've come to be But if I could I would go back five years To see the wonder in your eyes
